Phillippians 4:4-9:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable---if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me---put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (New International Version)

Isaiah 40:1-5:

Comfort, comfort my people says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and proclaim her that her hard service has been completed, and that her
sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord's hand double
for all her sins.

A voice of one calling in the desert, prepare the way for the Lord. Make
straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be
raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall
become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will
be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the
Lord has spoken. (New International Version)
